The Dirt Road Gourmet...
has been committed to quality since our very humble beginnings when we cooked in a small rented space.

We use fresh chicken tenders and fresh ground beef to ensure that our products taste fresh and homemade. Once our chicken is cooked, we take about 4 hours getting the chicken ready for each casserole batch.

We order and receive ingredients twice each week. This means that we can have fresh sour cream, cheese and butter and crackers and other ingredients at all times. The small batch process that we use not only allows us to control the processing temperature that is so critical to food safety, but it also allows us to make sure that each batch is just like you would make yourself.

Under the watchful eye of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, we are inspected daily and produce our products between the hours of 7 am to 4 pm. If you stop by to see us during this time, we can let you peek into the kitchen but we cannot let you take a tour due to food safety concerns.

Hi there. I live in Kimberly, Al and shop at the local IGA several times a week. I am a stay at home mom with 2 boys and don't particularly like to cook. We often eat out or order in. Well, that may have changed tonight. I saw your frozen entrees at the store a few days ago, and thought why not? Tonight I cooked the almond chicken for supper and it was WONDERFUL. A complete knockout! It tasted like something my mom would make---and it was so fresh. I can't wait to try them all. Thank you for having these at IGA in Kimberly. Please keep them coming.

My wife and I absolutely love your food! Anytime our friends has a baby it's a bit of a tradition that we take a Husband's Delight to them to keep them from having to prepare something themselves.
